Kaltostat, Sodium Alginate dressing
Kaltostat can be used as a a primary external wound dressing and is designed to promote haemostasis. Kaltostat can reduce bleeding as well as control exudate. Available in rope and sheet forms to suit varying wound types.
Kaltostat is high in guluronic acid - forms a firmer gel and is easier to remove from the wound bed than traditional dressings.
