St John Caring Caller is a free, long-term telephone friendship service that offers those who are housebound, or live on their own, the opportunity to stay in daily contact with someone. The daily friendship call can reduce isolation and combined with the check that all is well, the service can assist individuals to maintain their current lifestyle. The St John Caring Caller service is of real benefit to the more isolated individuals who are choosing to continue living within their own homes.
